Daniel Parker Duvall, Descendant of Colonel Josiah Parker

Daniel Parker Duvall shared information today on his ancestor Colonel Josiah Parker. Josiah Parker was born on May 11, 1751 and raised at his family homestead in ‘Maccelsfield” on the James River in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. There and at Smithfield he lived with his wife Mary Pierce Bridger Parker, and their only child, Ann Pierce, and stepdaughters Judith and Catharine Bridger.

Dan is a Parker family historian, researcher and author. He lives Pawleys Island, SC and is excited to share family histories in Isle of Wight County.
